Marina Hasson

Writer. Wife. Mother of three. Pharmacist. Author of Return to Sender—a memoir about postcards, power, silence, and claiming what was not given.

Marina Hasson is a Toronto-based writer, wife, and mother of three. Born in Belgrade, she arrived in Canada as a young single mother, already trained as a pharmacist, and later turned to writing as a way to make sense of what was lived, what was lost, and what remained unsaid.

Her work explores power, silence, and the deliberate act of reclaiming narrative.

Return to Sender, her first memoir, began as a series of postcards and evolved into a record of persistence, authorship, and the quiet decisions that shape a life.
